Restaurant Reveiw:

Review of Valentine’s Day Celebration at King David
Restaurant on Feb. 14 2022

The setting at King David restaurant, which is both a majestic ballroom and a highly thought of kosher restaurant was just the right environment to make a special day just that.
Pre-dinner and throughout the evening a highly polished 5 member band consisting of 3 lead singers and 2 instrumentalists thoroughly entertained the sold out venue. Starting off the nearly non-stop evening of music, lead singer and MC Sebastian Pritsker started with earthy folk music from the Caucuses. Fellow singers Teona and Raj quickly joined in with an array of Russian pop, uptempo dance and love songs.
As to the dinner: picture course after course of sushi, fish, oysters and shrimp, more than 5 courses served by a gracious and personable staff. One unique item was fried rice with sushi on top, most delicious. Vodka and cranberry was our go to drink, in moderation of course. All the foods were were cooked to perfection, providing for a savory feast.
Dancing on the ballroom floor was warmly encouraged and coupled with Raj, Teona and clarinetist Slavik’s interactions with the dancing audience, maximum participation was achieved in a most heart warming manner. MC Sebastian, exhibiting considerable charisma and stage presence throughout the evening was masterful at prompting and evoking the audience.
As a multicultural event this evening was a success in its own right. One special song dedication was to a family from Iran for instance.
King David restaurant has been open for more than 20 years and is adept at handling Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Highly recommended.
